Shipping Policy
- Overview and Scope
Trunkandtuck (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates as an online retail provider specializing in automotive trunk storage solutions. We exclusively serve customers located within the European region. All transactions, order fulfillment, and logistical operations are managed in compliance with applicable German and European Union legal frameworks, including consumer protection directives and customs regulations.
- Fulfillment and Dispatch Location
All orders placed through www.trunkandtuck.com are dispatched directly from our primary distribution center located in Germany.
Dispatch Address: XXX
Order Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and handed over to our logistical partners within 1 to 2 business days following order confirmation. Orders are not processed or dispatched on weekends or official German public holidays.
- Shipping Partners and Delivery Timelines
We partner with established international and regional couriers, including DHL, FedEx, and UPS Priority services, to ensure reliable transit across Europe.
Standard Delivery Estimate: Following dispatch, shipments are generally delivered within 3 to 7 business days, depending on the destination country within the European region.
Delivery Tracking: Transparency throughout the delivery process is maintained via automated status updates. Upon dispatch, arrival at primary transit hubs, and out-for-delivery milestones, automated tracking notifications are transmitted to the electronic mail address provided by the customer at the time of order placement. Customers may utilize the provided tracking links to monitor shipment progression.
- Duties, Taxes, and Customs (Delivered Duty Paid – DDP)
All shipments dispatched by Trunkandtuck to destinations within the European region are handled on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis.
The total amount paid by the customer at checkout constitutes the final cost of the goods and associated delivery fees.
All applicable value-added tax (VAT) and import duties are settled directly by us. Customers will not incur any secondary customs charges, clearance fees, or import taxes upon delivery of the merchandise.
- Delivery Delays and Logistical Irregularities
While standard delivery estimates are maintained in cooperation with our courier partners, external factors such as severe weather events, regional transport strikes, or unforeseen carrier disruptions may occasionally impact transit schedules.
In the event that a shipment exceeds the standard delivery window without reasonable tracking progression, we initiate a formal carrier investigation upon notification.
Following the outcome of the carrier inquiry, appropriate remedies—including full financial restitution or replacement fulfillment—are determined based on the verified logistical circumstances.
Customers are advised to inspect package exteriors upon receipt and report any visible transit damages promptly via promo@trunkandtuck.com.
- Failed Delivery Attempts and Address Accuracy
Customers are solely responsible for providing complete and accurate destination information during the checkout process.
If a courier is unable to complete delivery due to an incorrect address supplied by the customer or repeated failure by the recipient to collect the package from a designated local pickup point, the shipment may be returned to our German distribution facility.
Additional shipping charges may apply for the re-dispatch of returned parcels resulting from incorrect delivery information or uncollected items.
- Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to amend or update this Shipping Policy periodically to reflect operational adjustments or changes in European regulatory compliance. Any revisions become effective immediately upon publication on www.trunkandtuck.com.
